What is included in the trailer bar hire?

When you book the bar hire option with us you will receive a personalised cocktail menu for your event, a FULLY equipped cocktail bar with all the necessary equipment from the big things down to the straws and napkins – we provide it all! You will also have 2-3 trained mixologists (depending on the size of the event) and all the setting up/cleaning down handled by us for a hassle-free service! Cocktail glass hire is included. Bar hire is £300 for a 6hr time slot.

Our bar is roughly 3.5m in length and 2m in width. It is only slightly larger than a typical SUV so we can fit it in most venues and even in driveways/gardens. We are happy to attend the site of your event in advance to ensure this is not an issue.

Yes, we have several mocktails and soft drinks that we are able to offer upon request when building your custom menu.

We specialise in cocktails but are able to provide beers, wines etc upon request.

We typically arrive early to set up but this does not come out of your booking time. Masterclasses generally take between 2 and 3 hours depending on the number of guests and trailer hire bookings are a 6hr slot although we are able to accommodate for shorter/longer bookings if necessary.

We are limited by the premises licence of the venue we are attending so this can change on a case by case basis. Our masterclasses do not have a maximum number of guests but they do have a minimum of 5.

We are based in the South West  and will travel to surrounding areas such as Exeter (anywhere within 30miles of Torquay) free of charge, after that we charge £0.50 per additional mile.

We will create your custom menu and once you are happy with it we will arrange a 50% deposit to secure your date with the remaining 50% being due 30 days before the date of your event. Dates can be amended or cancelled up until 30 days before the event, at which point deposits become non-refundable.

For our trailer to be fully functional we require access to an electrical socket and clean water. We have a selection of adapters ranging from 13amp (regular 3 pin house sockets) up to 32amp with up to 25m of  extension cable available which allows us to be flexible with our set up. 

Masterclasses do not require an electrical outlet.

Of course! Many venues do not provide cocktails and would be happy for us to do so however they usually want us to serve ONLY cocktails and let their bar handle the rest. We are happy to do this but it is at the discretion of the venue. 

We will provide everything needed for all bookings unless discussed and agreed upon prior to the date, this avoids any unpleasant surprises and allows you to sit back and enjoy!

All members of staff have received training from me (the owner) directly or have worked alongside me prior to being taken on at The Apple Tree. Experience levels vary between 3-8 years and all of our mixologists have a great attitude with the skills to match!

No event is too big or small, it’s always worth enquiring with us! Our typical bookings are weddings, birthday parties, festivals and corporate events but we are very flexible with what we can offer so feel free to send us a message!

Every event we cater for has a bespoke menu based around our guests preferences or theme which we will create for you before you book.

We have public liability cover up to £5,000,000, personal licences on several team members, first aid training and all hygiene/health and safety checks required by our local authority have been completed.

Yes, this is no problem at all! Our cocktails are very reasonably priced which helps to keep your guests happy but if you would prefer to remove the expense for them completely we offer pre-paid packages or you can create a tab limit after which point guests will then begin to pay as they go for drinks.
